I’ve never been in one, but I know there are places online you can put a league together. I was thinking a Facebook group or something might work better to stay in touch and stay informed better. I love oppo but it’s hard to navigate/look for certain topics since it’s always refreshing with newer posts. My idea for spec racing was to take the tuning out of it, make it a level playing field. I noticed there are A LOT of Aussie V8 supercars in Forza, or we could do Miatas. Make some suggestions. as far as the format goes I would like to see longer races (30-50 laps depending on where) and maybe throw damage/fuel & tire wear on.

I was throwing around the idea of a touring cad series, with all the rough close racing of the real deal.

I noticed those, too. The V8 supercars gives us a lot of car options but I’m not a big fan of online racing anything that is an S class or higher. Can get messy. The touring cars are kind of a lower S class aren't they? Plus they probably handle a bit better than the V8 supercars.

I’ve always wanted to do one a series like this, sign me up. Might want to make the races around 20 laps (which is about 45-60min) though, anything longer than that begins to feel like a grind and more people might be able to join because of the minimal time requirement.

Could do an IROC series using one of the few different cars used at one point in the series. There's the 79 camaro, 90 IrocZ or the 02 transam. The paint jobs are easy to create and I would even do a template for people in series is desired. All you do is just need to set what mods are allowed

Psh, my favorite events are the endurance races in the career mode! Spent 2 hours going around LeMans last night. But yeah I get what you're saying.

That's a good option. As long as we can make sure all the correct mods are being used. Hell, someone could come up with a tune that everyone downloads. I'm thinking everything can be modified besides the motor on something like that.

I was thinking the stock car motor swap but leaving the restrictors in place. Since the real cars were nascars underneath the skin.

I can imagine that being a handful to race though. Online racing anything s-class or higher is a challenge. I like the idea of using a spec racer in the game because they're setup pretty well.

Same, I was so stoked T10 brought them back for 6. I’d love to do a WEC-inspired endurance race series with tracks like the Nurburgring, Spa, Silverstone, Le Mans, etc. but I’m not sure the level of interest we’d receive since people get tired after like an hour lol.

Sounds like fun...I’d say 45 to 60 minutes. Pick a new car for each race, like mx5 cup cars at laguna seca, v8 super car at Bathurst. ...
